My DonnaDear's Boys

The next few posts are going to be from sessions that I shot this morning. A few dear friends met with me to get some shots before the holidays. I am a lucky girl with so very many dear and loving friends in my life. The next few posts will be a small sampling of a special group of girls that I consider family. When we are all together, there is a very rare dynamic that is hard to explain. Like, when together, we can do anything. Our children have the same connection! 

It was a lovely morning!  My daughter, who assisted me in my shoot, was thrilled to see her dear friends. It was an extremely windy day. But we made it work, as we do!

Meet my friend, DonnaDear's (my daughter pretty much named her), sons. I love these boys. We also have a feeling that the youngest will more than likely be my son in law one day. Hehe. Then there is her oldest, who is seriously an awesome young man. He is wise beyond his years and is my son's great friend who is such a fabulous influence and role model. Really. This is no surprise, their parents are like family to my own family....and they inspire my husband and I often. I just wish we lived closer.

From snowy Christmas Eves to lazy summer lunches after church....I feel at home in their home, as do my children. Some of my all time favorite memories are in Donna's kitchen. I can not get enough of her (or her cooking). Swoon.
